LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — World-renowned prop comedian Scott “Carrot Top” Thompson, has been entertaining Las Vegas audiences for an unprecedented 15 years. Today the Luxor Hotel and Casino has announced a five-year contract extension for the show through 2025.
After last night’s performance, MGM Resorts executives surprised Carrot Top by joining him on stage to announce the extended residency.
Carrot Top has been making audiences laugh for the better part of 3 decades and with this extension of his Luxor residency he will become the longest running comedy show in MGM Resorts history.
“Carrot Top has been entertaining crowds at Luxor since 2005 and we are very excited that Luxor will continue to be his home for many more years,” said MGM Resorts’ President of Entertainment & Sports George Kliavkoff. “Visitors come to Las Vegas from all around the world to let their hair down, escape and have a few laughs. Carrot Top’s show delivers on all of that.”
“Being able to call Las Vegas home for the past 15 years has been an incredible experience that has allowed me to explore and expand my comedy as well as put down roots in this great city,” said Carrot Top. “I consider myself very fortunate to have had this opportunity and look forward to many more years of making people laugh here at Luxor.”
Carrot Top performs six nights a week inside the Atrium Showroom at Luxor hotel-casino.
