LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The success of the Emmy-winning Rupaul’s Drag Race has helped make the drag genre mainstream.
Aside from several drag brunches that have popped up this year and nightclub drag shows, Las Vegas Boulevard doesn’t have a full drag show production.
Faaabulous! The Show, featuring 5 extraordinary drag performers, could become the only live-singing drag show on the Strip.
For now, the show will play 4 performances at Ron Decar’s Event Center with the hope of being picked up and turned in to a weekly show.
The show is produced by Christopher Kenney (EDIE, the emcee of Zumanity) and Jamie Morris (Puppetry of the Penis).
"No lip-synching. No impersonations. The cast of Faaabulous! The Show is Vita Summers, Bella Ross, Sandra Santigold, Dusty Muffin and JuneBug and they are true triple threats. They sing, they dance, and they are damn funny!" said producer Jamie Morris.
Faaabulous! The Show will play June 26, 28, 29 at 7 p.m. and June 30 at 5 p.m.
