Teachers are performing some impressive dance moves at Del Sol Academy of the Performing Arts.

Teachers at Del Sol are spending their free time after school learning complicated dance moves.

"Every single teacher here is here for the right reason and that's why we do what we do," said Ramiro Martinez, a teacher at Del Sol.

They put down the textbooks and beakers to practice several times per week, then show off what they learn at school assemblies. One thought got the teachers dancing this year.

"I just think there's a lot of negativity out there with regards to education and what's not being told are all the positive stories that happen just like the one here at Del Sol," said Martinez.

Students, of course, eat it up!

"It's so nice seeing the goofy side of the teachers cause we never get to see that," said Maria Dibut, a student at Del Sol.

"Our skill set is different than the typical dancer, but we're willing to put ourselves out there in order to entertain kids, make them laugh," said Martinez.

It gets the teachers laughing too.
