LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — On five days this year all National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone!
Mark your calendar for these entrance fee-free dates in 2020:
- January 20: Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.
- April 18: First day of National Park Week
- August 25: National Park Service Birthday
- September 26: National Public Lands Day
- November 11: Veterans Day
Below is a list of nearby parks that waive their entrance fees:
- Lake Mead National Recreation Area
- Grand Canyon National Park
- Death Valley National Park
- Zion National Park
- Bryce Canyon National Park

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is not a national park so it might not waive fees on all of the dates listed above, however fees will be waived on:
- January 20: Birthday of Martin Luther King Jr.
- February 17: Presidents’ Day
- September 26: National Public Lands Day
- November 11: Veterans Day
Other fees, such as camping and group day use, will remain in effect.
Normal entry fees for Red Rock Canyon are: $15 per car/truck, $10 per motorcycle and $5 per bicycle/pedestrian for a one day pass. An annual pass is $30 per person. Learn more at RedRockCanyonLV.org.
