HENDERSON (KTNV) — USA Today has named Cowabunga Bay as one of the "Best Water Parks" in the U.S.
The polls allowed individuals across the country to vote for their favorite roller coaster and water park from 20 nominations, according to a park spokesperson, and Cowabunga Bay made the "10 Best" list.
“Our team is thrilled to be recognized as USA Today's “10 Best” water parks in the nation and the only park on the west coast," said Alex Barilla, general manager of Cowabunga Bay.
Cowabunga Bayoffers more than 20 slides and attractions. It includes the largest lazy river in Nevada, nine water slides, four surf and swim pools, and kids play area.

Lucky Local Nights: The Lucky Locals Night specials for guests are the last three Fridays in September (11, 18, 25). Admission is $7.77 and tickets must be purchased online. Park hours are 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Hero Weekend: Sept. 12 & 13 - First responders, active and retired military, police, fire, nurses, and doctors will receive free admission with a valid work ID. Additional friends and family up to four will have a discounted admission of $19.99 per person.
Cowabunga Bay says it has safety protocols in place amid the pandemic.
