LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Clark County School District has been promoting a culture of peace all week for Peace Week.
Former Assemblyman Tyrone Thompson started Peace Week prior to his passing as a way to wrap up Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day and promote peace in a bigger fashion.
"We kind of took it and ran with it really," explained Robert Hinchliffe, principal of Tyrone Thompson Elementary School.
