LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday is almost here and the city of New Orleans is all but shut down due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Many in The Big Easy are taking to their yards instead this year to celebrate what some are calling "Yardi Gras."
Putting up decorations and mini-floats to celebrate with family instead of packing the French Quarter streets for a parade.
One Las Vegas family is getting in the spirit and decided to decorate to show solidarity with the city of New Orleans and all those missing out this year.
