Carson Kitchen
Get Shorty! was created by taking the foundation of tequila/lime/grapefruit common to the Paloma and many margarita recipes, and his desire to find an amount of spice that could be controlled and consistent. The spiced syrup is actually equal parts cayenne AND paprika, joining the sweet spice of one with the subtle late heat of the other. It works for the drink, it's super food-friendly, and it's been the most popular cocktail on the menu for at least the last 3 years (give-or-take), making it the perfect cocktail to celebrate the holiday with.

China Poblano
The Salt Air Margarita at China Poblano, created by José Andrés himself, is an elegant take on a margarita. Establishing the perfect mix of salty and sweet, the salt air is made by warming water, sucro, lime juice and salt in a saucepan. After the mixture is transferred into a bowl it is mixed with a blender until it bubbles to perfection. Finally, the tequila blanco, lime juice and agave syrup are shaken and topped with a spoonful of the light and fluffy salt air. Also take the party home with China Poblano’s Margarita Grande to-go (22 ounce/$24). Open for lunch, dinner and take-out, choose between Prickly Pear, Mango and Coconut flavors all deliciously crafted with Milagro blanco tequila and fruity finishes.
