With recent events affecting children going to school, CCSD is giving students more time to do their project at home.
The competition was created for kids while they are home to learn about crossing streets safely and turning what they learn into an art project.
Entries can be any medium from pencil to computer generated but must be on paper no larger than 20” x 20." Submissions can now be dropped off at the CCSD Administration building beginning April 29 8 a.m. to noon through May 1 at noon.
The students will be notified if they are winners or honorable mention, but the awards will physically be given out and the shelter revealed at a later date, when people are allowed to gather again.
