LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — UnitedHealthcare has donated $1 million to Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada.
The presentation ceremony was held Tuesday and representatives said the donation will help with the expansion of two programs: Meals on Wheels and Renewing Hope for Men.
"I think we've all experienced a great deal of isolation in this pandemic. This gift today that will be given to catholic charities, on behalf of united healthcare and their team members, allows us to break down isolation for many of the people we serve," said Deacon Tom Roberts, of Catholic Charities.
