Nearly 500 students from Katz and McMillan Elementary Schools received a special visitor on Thursday.
Captain Barrington Irving arrived by helicopter and spent the day teaching students about aviation and science.
Barrington broke a world record back in 2007 by becoming the youngest person to pilot a plane around the world solo.
He now travels to schools around the country hoping to inspire kids.
