UPDATE: The fireworks show by Grucci kicked off at 10:20 p.m. above Caesars Palace Friday night.
The show included distinct rooftop fireworks as a nod to the 50th Anniversary with a Grucci exclusive "50" FaçadeEtching on the face of the Palace Tower and special effects at the Temple Pool. The State-of-the-Art performance was choreographed with unparalleled precision to a musical playlist filled with some of the best artists ever to perform at Caesars.
Thousands showed up for a party at the Garden of The Gods Pool Oasis.
"We love Caesars Palace so much, we've been coming here 28 years, we got married here, we met here," said one woman.

Caesars Palace is celebrating 50 years on the Las Vegas Strip.
To mark this milestone, the hotel-casino unveiled Saturday a free, self-guided tour where guests can look at exhibits and displays of Caesars history throughout the building.
In addition to the walking tour, a number of additional special 50th anniversary events and promotions are planned in the coming months including a special Independence Day Weekend Block Party with a Fireworks Extravaganza on July 3, Anniversary Weekend celebrations Aug. 5-6 with a commemorative cake and champagne toast, as well as a gala for invited guests and VIPs, #IAMCAESAR Sweepstakes, special 50th Anniversary room packages and commemorative merchandise.
