Business leaders share why they will be doubling down on Vegas at Preview Las Vegas 2021, the Vegas Chamber’s annual economic forecasting event that will take place on Jan. 21, at 9 a.m.
During the Preview program, national economic experts, Mark Yusko, CEO of Morgan Creek Capital Management, Chris Wheat, Co-president of JP Morgan Chase Institute, and Jim Glassman, head economist, Commercial Banking of JP Morgan Chase, will share their perspectives on the United States and Nevada economies, their predictions for economic growth in 2021, and what business leaders need to be prepared for in the coming months.
The outlook for the tourism industry will be a major focus of Preview, as it continues to be Nevada’s core economic driver. Steve Hill, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, will engage in a conversation with Contessa Brewer, anchor at CNBC, about the recovery of the convention and tourism industry and what will drive visitation to Las Vegas once COVID-19 has subsided.
Las Vegas businessman, Derek Stevens, CEO of The D and the newly opened Circa, will share his perspective on what’s ahead for Vegas and the opportunities professional sports is creating.
In addition, Las Vegas headliner Frankie Moreno will debut his new hit song with a special high-energy performance during the Preview program. The song, written especially for the Preview Las Vegas show, will be available for download on iTunes, and promises to become a new anthem and rallying cry for the city.
