Actor and comedian Brad Garrett is celebrating seven years of his poker tournament this weekend.

The event, at the MGM Grand hotel-casino, raises money for Garrett's charity -- the Maximum Hope Foundation -- which helps out families who have children with life-threatening illnesses.

Garrett says he is proud how much the Raising Hope Celebrity Poker Tournament has grown in seven years, where there were 35 players. This year, there were 250 competitors.

"It's very, very humbling," Garrett said. "I'm grateful and we have one event a year and a turnout like this is wonderful. There's so many people in Las Vegas that donate."
