Blue Star Mothers presented a Certificate of Appreciation and an American flag to the Girls Scouts of Southern Nevada recognizing the Girl Scouts Cookie Share program.
In 2015, the Southern Nevada Cookie Share program sent 7,488 boxes of cookies to active duty military deployed overseas.
The America flag presented was flown on December 25, 2015 at the Contingency Operating Base in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Girl Scouts will be participating in the Cookie Share program again in 2016. Girl Scout cookies are on sale now through March 6.
