Aaron Ford was elected the first African American attorney general for Nevada in 2018.
Since taking office, Ford says he has been focused on making sure that all people are treated fairly... from protecting domestic violence victims to making sure minorities get fair treatment in Nevada's justice system.
before practicing law, Ford was a public school teacher. He then clerked for several judges before joining a private practice in Las Vegas.
Before running for AG, he served as the majority leader in the Nevada State Senate.
