LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Amazon is bringing more than 2,000 new jobs to Nevada.
The company is planning to build eight new buildings across the state to support its customer fulfillment and delivery operations.
Jobs at Amazon pay a minimum of $15 an hour along with comprehensive benefits starting on the first day.
“Today’s announcement by Amazon is not just great news for North Las Vegas, but for all of Southern Nevada,” North Las Vegas Mayor John Lee said. “The City of North Las Vegas has a long-standing relationship with Amazon, and they have been a fantastic partner investing in our city not only by building facilities here, but also creating several thousand jobs and being good corporate citizens."
