LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Representatives from Allegiant Airlines donated $400 thousand dollars worth of aircraft parts to students in the aviation program at Rancho High School.

Students in the program will use the parts to learn how airplanes are built, function and are repaired. Allegiant Airlines donated these parts to help give students a hands-on training that will provide them with career-ready job skills.

Rancho High School has the only aviation program in the Clark County School District. There are only a few high school programs like this nationwide. The program offers two dynamic and unique tracks in engineering or flight for students interested in aviation and aerospace.
