LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A popular Taiwanese bakery-cafe chain is expanding to Southern Nevada with a new Las Vegas location.

85°C Bakery Cafe has over 1,000 locations worldwide and gained national attention with its Irvine, California, location that opened back in 2008 for its new cafe experience.

The bakery's Vegas spot is at 4258 Spring Mountain Rd. #103, east of Arville Street, in the Shanghai Plaza, and many fans were already in line Friday morning.

The popular eatery says its philosophy is to offer 5-star quality at affordable prices, after founder, Cheng-Hsueh Wu, couldn't find any premium coffee, bread or cake at affordable prices while vising a 5-star hotel.

85°C Bakery is named for the temperature they say coffee reaches its peak flavor with chefs matching these brews with an array of creative breads, pastries and cakes.

The bakery is celebrating its opening with specials and giveaways throughout the weekend.
