Henderson fireworks celebration
The City of Henderson will salute America by hosting its annual Fourth of July Celebration. The all-ages event will feature entertainment, activities, concessions and a spectacular fireworks show. Admission is complimentary. Loveshack will send residents back to the future with an energetic performance of classic songs from the 1980's. The night will be topped off with a dazzling fireworks display by Lantis Fireworks and Lasers. The 18-minute show will feature a colorful display of dancing rockets, sparklers and firecrackers. Fireworks show begins at 9 p.m. July 4.
Boulder City Damboree
The annual Boulder City Damboree will take place Monday in Bicentennial park on Colorado Street. A parade will begin at 9 a.m. There will be activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Broadbent Memorial Park. There will also be games, food and music from 4 to 11 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park. Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m.
Pool at the Plaza
The Plaza hotel-casino in downtown Las Vegas will celebrate the Pool at the Plaza's official grand opening with festivities througou the July Fourth weekend. There will be a weekend-long BBQ each day beginning at 11 a.m. Entertainment will be provided by a DJ. On July 2, there will be a grand opening celebration featuring a performance by the Johnny cash tribute band Cash'd Out at 8:30 p.m. and a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. On July 3 and 4, there will be a pickleball exhibition and round robin in conjunction with players from the USA Pickleball Association.
The annual festival takes place at Petrack Park. There will be family-friendly activities, entertainment, food, arts and craft vendors and more. Watch the fireworks show at 9 p.m. Admission is free.
Mesquite fireworks celebration
Eureka Casino Resort will celebrate the Fourth of July with Rockets over the Red Mesa on Monday, July 4. The evening will feature a live performance by the Nevada POPS Orchestra, a DJ and community vendor village.
The festivities will kick off at 6 p.m. with the community vendor village and DJ performance. The celebration will then continue with a live performance by the Nevada POPS Orchestra, featuring a full 32-piece orchestra at 8 p.m. The Orchestra will be featuring music from Frank Sinatra, which will accompany the fireworks display starting at 9 p.m.
The 22nd annual Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade will begin at 9 a.m. in Summerlin. The parade will begin at Hillpointe Road and Hills Center Drive and travel south on Hills Center Drive toward the Village Center Circle roundabout before heading west on Trailwood Drive. The parade features floats, cars, performers and more.
FANTASY
FANTASY, Luxor Hotel and Casino’s award-winning adult revue, will light up the night on Fourth of July with a “Red, White & Va-Va Voom” calendar promotion available for one night only, July 4, following the 10:30 p.m. show. Attendees of the Fourth of July show will be able to redeem their ticket stub at the retail counter after the performance for a discounted 2016 “FANTASY After Dark” anniversary calendar, specially priced at $10. Guests will be encouraged to stay after the show to have their merchandise autographed as well as pose for photos with the gorgeous cast.
Fourth of July poolside at Aliante
Honor the red, white and blue this summer with a poolside barbecue and drink specials at Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa’s The Deck during Fourth of July weekend from Friday, July 1, through Monday, July 4. The Deck will feature specialty drinks, classic cocktails, frozen drinks, beer and wine, with the option to upgrade specific drinks to be served in pineapples, coconuts or watermelons. Extra-thirsty guests may ‘Make it a Large’ by adding an additional shot to any cocktail for $5, or enjoy a 58-ounce pitcher of their chosen drink.
Life Time Athletic Green Valley
Life Time Athletic, located at 121 Carnegie St. in Henderson will host a Fourth of July poolside bash featuring a live DJ, signature cocktails and a front-row view of the Green Valley Ranch fireworks from 1 to 10 p.m. on Monday, July 4. The party will kick off with family-friendly activities including a dunk tank, Jenga and cornhole on the pool deck, along with dance parties and complimentary hot dogs and hamburgers. Life Time Athletic’s Fourth of July Pool Party is complimentary for members. Non-members may purchase a 24-hour day pass for full access to the club and Pool Party, priced at $30.
The LINQ
Family-Friendly Activities July 1-4
A lively and colorful Fourth of July parade for the entire family starts at the Las Vegas Boulevard end of The LINQ Promenade and continues to the Fountain Stage on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday at 2 p.m. Then, from 2-5 p.m., guests will enjoy the spectacle of more family-friendly live atmospheric entertainment, think stilt walkers, caricature artists and face painters. DJ Miguel will spin his signature “Rockin’ Hip Poppin’ Motivating Music” from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
Evening entertainment and etc. at The LINQ
Following the daytime activities, the atmosphere at The LINQ Promenade will transform into a more adult-oriented party vibe designed to last into the night on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. From 6 to 9 p.m., guests will groove to the sounds of a variety of talented artists performing on the Fountain Stage, including N’Demand, a Motown, R&B and soul act; Black Eyed Tease, a Black Eyed Peas tribute act; and Jupiter Year, a blues-inspired rock band. Finally, from 9 to 11 p.m., they’ll be pumped up by the heart-thumping beats of the LED Drumline or marvel at the acrobatic maneuvers of break dancers.
Fourth of July Bridge Bash
The Brooklyn Bridge at New York-New York will once again be the site of a Fourth of July celebraiton from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free. Nathan's hot dogs, ice cream sandwiches and more available for purchase.
Neighborhood Barbecue at Downtown Grand
The Downtown Grand on Third Street is hosting a neighborhood barbecue from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. There will be food available for purchase and carnival games. There will also be live entertainment. Admission is free. Proceeds will benefit the Nevada childhood Cancer Foundation.
Chef Emeril Lagasse hits a home run at Lagasse's Stadium with his 4th of July Black 'n' Blue Burger topped with apple smoked bacon, crumbled blue cheese and caramelized onions, and served with seasoned french fries for $16. Complete your Independence Day meal with apple pie and vanilla ice cream for $7.
