Here are 13 things to do around the Las Vegas Valley for May 4-10:
1. The city of Las Vegas and Councilman Stavros S. Anthony is hosting a free movie night on May 4 at Ernest May Elementary School. Bring a blanket or low-backed chair and your family and watch the animated, family-friendly movie "Coco." Concession sales will benefit the school.
2. The First Friday Beer and Music Festival will feature unlimited samples of more than 60 craft beers, live music by Alien Ant Farm and Almost Normal, live artwork, tons of vendors, food trucks, tequila tastings and more. Proceeds will benefit First Friday Foundation.
3. The legendary group Earth, Wind & Fire are performing this weekend and next at The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian. The nine-time GRAMMY Award-winning band is performing their timeless songs including “Shining Star,” “September,” “Let’s Groove,” “Boogie Wonderland,” “Fantasy” and many more.
4. Rock n roll icon John Fogerty returns to the stage inside Wynn Las Vegas on May 4. There will be 12 performances spanning May and October. The music legend will be joined by his sons, Shane and Tyler.
5. The Las Vegas Indian Food Festival is happening May 5 at Clark County Government Center. Indian food offerings include tandoori chicken, kabobs, chicken curry, samosas, Indian street food and more. There will also be live music, dancing, henna tattoos, vendors and activities for children.
6. The Sin City Hearts Festival on May 5 at Downtown Las Vegas Events Center will feature 12 hours of music from noon to midnight featuring performances by popular EDM and house artists like Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs, Porky and more. There will be food trucks, immersive art installations, live painting and interactive yoga classes to decompress.
7. The Rockhouse is hosting a 114th Run for the Roses viewing party on May 5. Doors open at 11 a.m. Wear your finest Oxford shirt and biggest hat. $50 open bar that includes Mint Juleps.

8. Comedian, actress, talk show host and best-selling author Roseanne Barr performs May 5 at The Orleans. Barr's timeless sitcom, "Roseanne," recently returned to ABC with all-new episodes.
9. Monster Energy AMA Supercross (off-road motorcycle racing) is back at Sam Boyd Stadium on May 5. There will be 17 races of heart-stopping racing action. The tracks will feature tight corners, fast straightaways, challenging rhythm sections, triple jumps and whoops sections.
10. The Plaza hotel-casino is hosting the biggest Cinco de Mayo party in Downtown Las Vegas. There will be a mariachi band and Folklorico dancers, street tacos, margaritas, Micheladas, Modelo beer, and 8 Lucha Libre wrestling matches.
11. This year's Pet-A-Palooza on May 5 will feature performance by Rozzi, Andreas Moss, Whitney Woerz, Taylor Grey and more; animal-related exhibits and vendors; contests; pet adoptions; fun and games for kids; and food and beverages available for purchase.
12. DISCOVERY Children's Museum is hosting a Royal Tea at the Mandarin Oriental on May 6. The Royal Tea will feature the finest teas from around the world, delectable gourmet tea, special entertainment and regal art activities.
13. The Girls on the Run 5K is happening May 6 at UNLV. More than 500 runners are expected. Their will be glitter fairies, Jamba Juice smoothies, face painting, selfie zones and a dance party with local mascots. Presented by Zappos for Good.
