1. The Las Vaudeville Variety Show at the Bunkhouse Saloon on May 27 will feature magic, dancers, comedy, music and live art. Hosted by the dapper Mr. Nic Lynn. Some featured acts include Mizz Absurd, Kerri N' Fuego, Jay R Beatbox, Eva & Coco, Hypno Tribe, Mon Dr, Spadoni, Recycled Propaganda and more.
2. The Blue String Theory is playing a free show May 27 at Santa Fe hotel-casino. BST is a rock tribute band that plays the music of Van Halen, Journey, Foreigner, AC/DC, Poison, Led Zeppelin and more.
3. The 2nd annual Henderson Libraries Mini Con is taking place May 28 at Paseo Verde Library. The all-ages, family-friendly event features an artist alley, cosplay contest, panel discussion, live podcast, a drone workshop, crafts and more.
4. The Summer Fun Kickoff party is happening on May 28 at Cannery hotel-casino. Performances by The Standells, The Happenings, The Box Tops, and The Kingsmen. There will also be food, vendors, a car show and more.
5. Comedian Chris Tucker is instantly recognizable because of his distinctive voice and in-your-face style. Tucker rose to fame in mid '90s while appearing on "Def Comedy Jam." He is also known for his work alongside Jackie Chan in the "Rush Hour" film series. He performs May 28 inside the Peal Concert Theater at The Palms.
6. The School of Rock (Las Vegas West) presents The Big 4 Showcase on May 28 and 29 in the showroom at The D Las Vegas. The all ages show will feature the music of Metallica, Slayers, Megadeth and Anthrax.
7. The audience size is limited to 40 people for the adults-only show titled "Magia," which stars the award-winning magician David Gatti. The show is taking place May 28 through July 30 at Trump International Hotel. Gatti is known for his Italian charm, mind reading and jaw-dropping sleight of hand.
8. Flo Rida is back in Las Vegas at the Foundry Showroom at SLS Las Vegas on May 28. The Florida-born rapper is a chart fixture thanks to singles like "Right Round," "Club Can't Handle Me" and "Good Feeling." His music has united fans of pop, hip-hop and club music around the world.
9. Survivor, who is probably best known for the song "Eye of the Tiger" from the third Rocky movie, takes the stage in the M Pavilion at M Resort on May 28. Additional hits include "High on You" and "The Search is Over."
10. The Rock of Vegas free concert series on Fremont Street kicks off with a performance by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts on May 28. Jett has 8 platinum and gold albums and many Top 40 singles. Favorites include "I Love Rock 'n; Roll and "I Hate Myself for loving you."
11. The legendary rock band The Who will make a stop in Las Vegas at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on May 29. The stop is part of their North American tour celebrating 50 years of music. The show will feature songs from the band's early days to classic albums and present day music.
12. Super Summer Theatre will present the love story of "Beauty and the Beast" beginning June 1 at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park. Bring a blanket or chair and picnic basket. Rental chairs also available.
13. Texas country singer-songwriter Kevin Fowler's 7th album is titled "How Country Are You?" The albums took a year to make and features 15 songs and his own label. Fowler performs June 2 inside the Brooklyn Bowl.
