Here is this week's list of 13 things to do around the Las Vegas valley for the week of Feb. 9 though 15:
1.British-born singer Matt Goss is now performing at The Mirage. Goss, who has been compared to members of the Rat Pack, is a favorite with locals and tourists. He's backed by a multi-piece band, sultry singers and the Dirty Virgins dancers.
2. The Cornish Pasty Co. will host the Dark Hearts Market on Feb. 9. Enjoy an evening of delicious food and tasty drinks and incredible local artists should their delightfully creepy crafts. There will also be local sideshow performers.
3. "Adventures in the Sagebrush State" will be presented Feb. 9-11 at Historic Fifth Street School. Rainbow Company's origianl play about Nevada's past brings historic characters to live and is filled with music that will make people smile.
4. Wine and Canvas is hosting a special date night on Feb. 9. Bring your sweetie and paint the "Love Tattoo." The studio serves beer, wine and cocktails. It's located in Henderson.

5. Sin City Opera presents "Opera in the Movies" at Summerlin Library & Performing Arts Center on Feb. 10. This concert is an all-new multi-media version of the 2015 sell-out featuring arias and ensembles from memorable movies.
6. Wine lovers will want to head to Love the Wine You're With on Feb. 10 at Downtown Container Park. Wine tastings, complimentary chocolates, live music and a photo booth.
7. Dance the night away with Justin and the SwingBeats on Feb. 10 at Charleston Heights Artsd Center. They will perform big band standards as well as pop and top 40 music. Space is limited.
8. The legendary group Asia, featuring John Payne, performs Feb. 10 at Aliante hotel-casino. The English progressive rock band formed in London in 1981. John Payne became the frontman in 1992.
9. The Amazing Pet Expo is happening Feb. 10 and 11 at World Market Center. Tons of exhibitors, giveaways, mega-adoption event, discounted vaccinations, live entertainment, agility demonstrations, costume contests and more.
10. Evel Pie is hosting a pre-Valentine's Day pop-up art show on its back patio on Feb. 10. Featured artists include Handsome Panther Designs, Living Dirty, Rudy's Booty, Little Miss Skellyton and more. Guest DJ and $6 for pizza and a slice.
11. The Love Affair Concert at The Orleans on Feb. 10 will feature Zapp, GQ, Atlantic Starr, Heatwave, The Chi-lites, Tierra, Force MD's, The Floaters, The Delfonics and more. It will be a night of romantic, old school jams.
12. The Coffee Writing Club will meet on Feb. 11 at Writer's Block. The club meets alternating Sundays. Enjoy coffee from PublicUs, followed by an hour of silent writing, and a 30-minute period of discussion. No registration required.
13. Comedian Tom Green performs Sundays through Wednesdays at Bally's Las Vegas. Green rose to fame when his show, "The Tom Green Show," was picked up by MTV in 1999.
