LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — 13 Action News congratulates one of its own - Nina Porciuncula – on becoming a US citizen.
Friday, Porciuncula, a reporter and anchor for 13 Action News, officially became an American citizen on Friday.
She was born in the Philippines and has lived in the US since 2014.
Porciuncula worked in upstate New York and Florida before moving to Las Vegas.
She said her move to the US has been one of her best decisions so far in her life.
When I left the life I planned for myself in the PH 5yrs ago for a life waiting for me in the US, I didn’t know it’ll be one of the best decisions of my life.
