A group of thieves were recently caught on camera stealing Sonoran Desert Toads at a conservation park in Arizona.
Maricopa County officials say that the thieves were probably stealing the toads because they secrete a toxin that has hallucinogenic properties. Humans have been known to lick the toads in order to get high even though it can be very dangerous.
The three people in the video appear to be 2 males in their late teens and a woman in her 20s. It happened around 10 p.m. July 29 at the Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area.
