A New Mexico Uber driver unknowingly took part in an armed robbery as a getaway driver.
Terry Owens says he had only been on the job for three weeks when it happened.
According to Owens, it all started when he picked up a guy named Austin. Owens drove Austin around Albuquerque with their final stop being a gas station.
Austin went inside the gas station and when he got back to the car Owens says he had scissors with him.

Owens questioned Austin about the scissors but he gave an excuse for having them.
"He says, 'No, I'm just using this pair of scissors to cut strings off my jacket,'" Owens tells ABC affiliate KOAT.
