The Killers, which got its start in Las Vegas, has released a new song and video titled "Land of the Free." The new song addresses gun violence, the proposed border wall and race. It is being described as an anti-Trump anthem.
The video is directed by Spike Lee and features footage of migrants at the Mexico border, which Lee filmed over a few weeks at the tail end of 2018. It includes footage of migrant families being tear-gassed by border patrol agents in November.
Lead singer Brandon Flowers says it started for him with the shooting at Sandy Hook.

The song is the first new one from the band since their 2017 album titled "Wonderful Wonderful."
The band is considered one of the biggest rock bands of the 21st century. The band formed in Las Vegas in 2001. They have had five consecutive chart-topping studio albums.
