Texas parents Dante Trice and Angela Washington are upset after their son's school colored in his hair design.
The parents have filed a lawsuit against the school.
The lawsuit says that the 13-year-old boy was sent to the office in April because his hair cut violated school dress code.
He was told that he could either choose to have the design colored in or be suspended. He chose the marker because he was worried that if he was suspended, it would affect his eligibility for the track team.
The parents claim that the staff also laughed while coloring his scalp.
The family wants damages and they want the school staff to go through racial sensitivity training.
