LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — As rent prices continue to rise in Nevada, a recent study breaks down the most expensive zip codes in the Silver State.
RENTCafe analyzed 4,400 zip codes in over 130 markets and created a national ranking, as well as regional and state rankings.
For Nevada, the 89123 zip code in Las Vegas came back as the overall most expensive area to rent, according to the study, with an average rent of $1,789 a month. This number is up 6.6 percent from last year.
In Henderson, 89012 came back as the highest rental price tag for that area with a monthly cost of $1,541. This number is also up 7.7 percent from last year, according to the study.

Northern Nevada made the list with 89521 in Reno and 89436 in Sparks as the second and third most expensive rental areas in the state. Rentals prices in these zip codes average about $1,685 a month.
Rounding out the top five priciest rental zip codes was 89141 in Las Vegas, with an average cost of $1,523 a month.
Manhattan, NY., led the nation overall with the highest monthly rental prices averaging $6,211 in zip code 10282. On the West Coast, 90024 in Los Angeles, Calif., ranked the highest price averaging $4,944.
