The Backstreet Boys are back, alright.
The late 1990s/early 2000s boy band has signed a nine-show deal with promoter Live Nation, member Nick Carter told Entertainment Tonight's Katie Krause. The band is looking to "test the waters" for a long-term residency similar to what Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez have.
"If it does really well, then I think that'll open that door and then in future we'll do it," Carter told ET. "So that’s definitely going to happen but we're going to do a trial run first."
There's no word yet which venue that Backstreet Boys will be performing or when the suggested start date is.
Carter told ET fans can expect "a very big and spectacular show" with all the Backstreet Boys hits and all five of the band members.
