The Reno teenager trying to get his "nuggs" made an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
DeGeneres tweeted a selfie with Carter Wilkerson Tuesday afternoon. Her Oscar selfie from 2014 current has the most retweets in history, but Carter is fewer than 300,000 retweets behind.

Wilkerson is trying to get 18 million retweets after Wendy's told him that was what was necessary to get a year of free chicken nuggets.

Wendy's then upped the ante by offering to donate $100,000 to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption when Wilkerson beats DeGeneres' retweet record.
DeGeneres asked Wilkerson why he was trying to sabotage her selfie record and he told her, "I just want chicken nuggets."
Also after Wilkerson's appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Wendy's teased that the teen may possibly be "closer to nuggs than you think."
