A new study proves that Nevadans really love their pets.
The study by Innovet Pet Pet says that Nevada pet owners are willing to take 5 unpaid days off work to care for a pet. That equates to approximately $500 in lost income.
The pets also discovered that men are more willing than women to take time off for a pet -- 3.8 days compared to 3.5.
And, 2 out of 5 Nevadans say they take their pet's diet more seriously than their own.
Of the millennial Nevadans surveyed, more than 12% said they would prefer to "parent pets" over children.
