It might be time to take a drive to California or Arizona.
The Mega Millions jackpot is now at a staggering $540 million, which is the 7th largest jackpot in lottery history.
The last Mega Millions winner was on March 8. There have been 33 drawings since then, according to Los Angeles Times. The previous record was 22 rolls in December 2013.
The largest jackpot in lottery history was a $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot in January 2016. Three people picked the lucky numbers for that jackpot, including one person in California.
Mega Millions is played in 44 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

It's no surprise that they all share dreams of grandeur.
"My husband and I would probably buy an island somewhere," said one player.
