The "Jason Bourne" premiere was held Monday night at Caesars Palace.
13 Action News had an opportunity to catch up with star and Jason Bourne himself, Matt Damon.
"I just have a lot of gratitude with this character," he said. "Jason Bourne changed my entire career... Really the trajectory of my whole career. I look at my life now, and i make these movies, and I love what I do, and you know a lot of that is because of this character."
Several scenes from the movie were shot on the Las Vegas Strip and can be seen in the film's trailer.
"Jason Bourne" is the fifth movie in the Bourne series. It hits theaters July 29.
