Former NBA star Lamar Odom is lying in Las Vegas hospital, fighting for his life.
Odom was discovered unresponsive at a Nevada brothel on Tuesday by two of its employees. According to the brothel's owner, Odom had been at the brothel for the last three days. Owner Dennis Hoff told E! News that they had picked him up at his home in Las Vegas and that he was in a great mood and having fun with the girls. Hof says that he did receive phone calls on Sunday that "kind of bummed him out." But, he was still in a "great state of mind."
At approximately 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Odom was found unconscious. At this time, it is not known what caused his condition. It has been reported that he was taking herbal Viagra during his stay, but an insider says no illicit drugs were found in his room.
Action News spoke with fans outside of the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Tuesday night. The Los Angeles Lakers were in town for a game against Sacramento Kings.
It's also been reported that Kobe Bryant left the game on Tuesday night to rush to Odom's bedside. Khloe, Kim and Kris Kardashian are also reportedly at the hospital.
Not only has the news affected regular basketball fans, but many celebrities and fellow basketball players took to Twitter on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning to express their sadness and well wishes.
