A Los Angeles family is upset after a puppy being sent as a gift from Greece dies on an airplane.
The 5-month old purebred Central Asian Shepherd named Bear was found dead in the cargo area after the KLM Dutch Royal Airlines jet landed.
The family has not been able to retrieve the dog's body or see it.
KLM says they have been in touch with the family and a lawyer for the family is looking into the death.
The lawyer has worked on other notable airline dog death cases including the French bulldog that died in an overhead bin on a United Airlines flight and a small dog that died in the cargo hold of a Delta jet.
