A man was reunited with his best friend after seven long months away.
Master Sergeant Hector Rivera just got back from a deployment in Kuwait.
His dog Kanoh was so excited to see him to say the least.
"I didn't know how he was going to react to be honest with you. I got teary, really teary. He knows. I don't know, you just can't explain it," says Master Sgt. Hector Rivera.
Kanoh was being fostered through Dogs of Deployment.
It's a program where families volunteer to house dogs while their owners are deployed for work.
While Rivera was overseas, Kanoh learned new tricks like closing doors and answering commands in Spanish.
