Weeks after the first naked bike ride in Las Vegas, thousands of naked cyclists took to the streets of Portland, Oregon.
The World Naked Bike Rike went along a six-mile route to protest fossil fuels and promote bicycle safety.
Indecent exposure can be a violation of city code, however, since the ride is a protest, Portland police do not cite people unless they go off route.
"Portland has in many ways embraced it as part of what makes us Portlandia," said Sgt. Pete Simpson.
Bike rides have also taken place in New York City, New Orleans and Los Angeles.
