Astronauts receive fresh vegetables in space

The International Space Station crew is getting fresh vegetables in space thanks to one of the astronaut's green thumb.

NASA showed ff the successful experiment that astronaut Michael Hopkins is undertaking.

Hopkins has been growing two different kinds of greens on the ISS.

With no birds or bees around he had to pollinate the flowers with a paintbrush.

The crops were grown for 64 days the longest leafy greens have grown on station.
