ORIGINAL STORY

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- You work so you can get paid. But some employees at Topgolf say their employer is lagging behind when it comes to putting the green in their pockets.

Some employees here say they wanted to be treated like a pro, but claim instead their employer acted strictly amateur when it came time to pay up.

Andrew Gant says he has been working as a caddie at  Topgolf for about 3 months.

He was hoping it would help him keep his finances on par, but he told us he's already missed not one, but two paychecks.

"Now, I can't even go out with my girlfriend. She's paying for lunch, luckily I have a good support system," says Andrew.

Andrew says he decided to speak out because some of his co-workers are feeling the handicap in the wallet.

"There are others that work and that is their only job and they need that money to put food on the table, to pay their bills."

Topgolf says it is working hard to resolve the issue. They released the following  statement:

"Topgolf is aware of the system payroll issue and is working quickly to get it fixed within the day."

For concerns about unpaid wages, you can contact the U.S. Department of Labor, wage and hours division.

They can help take you through the process of filing a complaint.
