ORIGINAL STORY
LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- It was supposed to be the trip of a lifetime for Emily, who lives near Durango Drive and Flamingo Road.
Earlier this month, she and her boyfriend left for a 3-week vacation to Thailand. She says the first two weeks of the vacation were great -- exploring historic sites and checking out beautiful beaches.
But her vacation was cut short Nov. 19 when she got a call from her home security company. "The voicemail said there's activity in your home," she says.
She quickly told her boyfriend to pull up the video feed on her iPad. That's when she saw two thieves still inside house. She helplessly watched live from thousands of miles away as the thieves ransacked her home, stealing thousands of dollars worth of clothing and jewelry.
They even managed to find the keys to her Mercedes and drive off.
Emily says the woman in the video climbed in through a small window into her bathtub and that her house was a mess when she got back from Thailand.
She says she's had to sleep with the lights on because she's afraid the thieves will return. If you recognize the man and woman in the video, call police.
