A woman was hurt in a rollover crash on southbound State Route 160 Saturday afternoon.

Nevada Highway Patrol reported the crash around 3:50 p.m. near Mountain Springs at Mile Marker 27.

A 48-year-old woman was the single occupant of a red SUV that rolled over and ended up on the right shoulder. It was the only vehicle involved.

The driver was wearing a seatbelt. She was initially trapped in the vehicle before fire personnel were able to extricate her from the vehicle.

NHP briefly closed the road to land a chopper to transport her to University Medical Center. She has non-life threatening injuries.

Impairment is not believed to be a factor.
