LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A 67-year-old woman was killed Feb. 21 near Rainbow Boulevard and Spring Valley Parkway.
Police say the woman was pushing a shopping cart and was crossing Rainbow Boulevard outside of a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a 2013 Chrysler 200 around 8 p.m.
The woman was transported to UMC Trauma where she died.
The 56-year-old male driver of the Chrysler stayed on scene and did not show any signs of impairment.
This was the 16th traffic-related fatality in Las Vegas.
