The stakes have risen in the search for a hit-and-run suspect! Today, the family of Edward Iantuono announced a very large reward for the person who can find the car that struck and killed him about two weeks ago.

13 Action News spoke to the victim's wife on Thursday. She says driving through the intersection of Cimarron and Blue Diamond roads will never be the same.

While she's not strong enough to face the cameras just yet, she posted a status on Facebook that she wants the entire Las Vegas community to see.

Part of it says, "Please. I'm begging you guys to be on the lookout for the savage who did this. My family is heartbroken."

Iantuono was 55 years old.  He was crossing the street near Blue Diamond and Cimarron roads on March 11 when a gray Jeep Cherokee struck him and sped off. Nevada Highway Patrol has been searching for the driver since, but the victim's wife is now offering a $10,000 reward to the person who finds the car.

The grey Jeep Cherokee is missing its right headlight and it was made between the years 2005 and 2008. If you spot the car, please call Nevada Highway Patrol and they will put you in contact with the victim's family.
