The westbound lanes of Blue Diamond were blocked early Thursday morning near Fort Apache Road in the southwest part of the valley because of a crash.
According to Nevada Highway Patrol, a man crashed into a water truck around 5:40 a.m. He was airlifted to UMC Trauma with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The lanes were re-opened around 7 a.m.
