Wayne Newton's Casa de Shenandoah has shut down as a public attraction.

Clark County received a letter from Newton's attorney that he and his wife were withdrawing the permits that allowed the property to be used as a museum.

They want to revert the house back to a property for residential use.

The permit withdrawals went into effect Tuesday immediately shutting down the attraction.
