WATCH: Person recovering after rescue from 'deep crevasse' at Red Rock

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — One person is recovering after being rescued from a deep crevasse at Red Rock, according to Las Vegas police.

13 Action News viewer Alexis Fernandez shared video of a search and rescue helicopter as it flew over the area around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Police say the person sustained numerous injuries to extremities and was transported to a hospital.

No word on their current condition.
