LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A motorcade is set to begin shortly for Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Officer Shay Mikalonis.
Chopper 13 is flying above the motorcade, which is set to begin around 7 a.m. You can watch that live here once it begins.
Officer Mikalonis will fly out of Las Vegas this morning for further treatment.

The 29-year-old was shot during a protest on the Strip nearly one month ago leaving him paralyzed from the neck down.
Since then the community has rallied around him.
