Help is coming for homeless veterans in the valley. After years of planning, Veterans Village will finally break ground on their tiny house village.
The tiny houses are built out of old shipping containers but they're big enough to sleep two people. At about 160 square feet, the homes have a mini kitchen, a sitting area, and bunk beds.
It's stability for veterans trying to get back on their feet.
"I think people are really surprised at what 160 square feet looks like," says Veterans Village founder, Arnold Stalk.
Veterans Village is already home to over 200 units of transitional housing for veterans.
This will add another 11 units.
