UPDATE: Investigators say the crash may have been due to a medical episode. There was no one at the bus stop at the time of the crash. Brake marks did not appear on the street before impact. The area has been cleared.
The Clark County coroner identified the deceased on Friday morning as 60-year-old Marty D. Bunn from Las Vegas.

LAS VEGAS, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police are investigating a serious crash near Decatur Boulevard and Smoke Ranch Road.
Police say that a vehicle crashed into a bus stop on the northwest corner. The crash was reported at 2:15 p.m.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to Mountain View Hospital in critical condition. The driver was pronounced dead shortly after.

The northbound lanes of Decatur and westbound lanes of Smoke Ranch are currently restricted or closed. Motorists should avoid the area.
The Clark County coroner will release the name and age of the driver after relatives have been notified.
